A weasel warlord has been overthrown, yet unrest still lingers throughout the kingdom. The Mouse Guard, who embody the honor and courage of knights of old, patrol the borders, protecting villagers from invaders. Three guardsmice are sent on a quest through treacherous terrain to search for a merchant who has disappeared. During their journey, they discover that there is a traitor within the Guard. With the help of the Black Axe, a legendary mouse warrior, the brave guards fight to rid the kingdom of an evil militia.
Mouse Guard: Fall 1152 by David Petersen is a great graphic novel for fans of Redwall and The Mistmantle Chronicles.
